Happy Holidays to All ! !
December 2009
Dear Parents: As the hustle and bustle of the holidays approach, we’d like to remind you of the importance of maintaining your daily routine and schedule. Children find comfort and security when they know what to expect. Rest and a nutritious diet will also help keep your children healthy. As we say every year, it is your presence not presents that truly matters to your children. Happy Holidays to All! Sincerely, Kerrie, Greg, and Maria

Literacy Night It seemed like a great time was had by all at Literacy Night. The children (many in pajamas) were excited to be at school in the “night time.” We listened to stories being read by staff, parents, and older siblings, while eating treats and having a wonderful time socializing. Many beautiful books were donated to Woodroe Woods; soon to be in the designated classes with adhered donor nameplates. THANK YOU PARENTS!
Shopping Do you shop online? Look on the back and check out the variety of stores through Marketplace Box Tops when shopping online. A proceed of your shopping dollars will benefit our school. Continued thanks to our volunteer/rep., Robin Cartwright for continuing to coordinate this program. Let’s keep her busy and keep those Box Tops coming in.
With appreciation… A big thank you to those who participated in our fundraisers. An approximate total of $4,500.00 was raised from the cookie dough & catalog fundraisers. We truly appreciate your support!
Weather Changes The weather can be so unpredictable, cold in the morning and evening, but warm in between! Please make sure your child has a jacket, sweatshirt, or some other warm outer clothing item to put on when needed.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD’S NAME IS ON ALL CLOTHING ITEMS. CHILDREN OFTEN HAVE THE SAME JACKETS, ETC.
